Pink Peonies
Happy June everyone! Now that we are out of May and in the month of June I think we can full-heartedly consider it to be summer; even though I have been in summer mode for the past two weeks since I got out of school. One of my favorite things about early summer - peonies! Now I know this might come off as 'basic' but I really don't mind, they are my favorite flower. So simple, bright, fun and beautiful. I have been buying them non-stop at the market, they are just to pretty to resist. It is not quite warm enough in Maine yet for our own peonies to bloom but I think they will pop in about a week or so.
Would love to know, are you as obsessed with peonies as I am? Or is your favorite flower another bloom?
