Gift Guide: Make It Personal

Custom and Personalized Gift Ideas for Women

Here it is, the first Simply Elegant Gift Guide of 2021!

We are kicking off our holiday gift recommendations with a round-up of personalized gift ideas so that you can place these orders soon (as many of these products have longer lead times as the products are made to order.)

I always think a gift with someone's monogram or a custom note is so thoughtful; it shows the recipient you planned ahead and thought about what you are gifting them. (It certainly is not a re-gift!)

I hope you find the perfect gift from the ideas below - I coved a wide range of price points. Maybe you want to splurge on a cashmere sweater or a leather keepsake, or you are looking for a personalized gift under $50; if that is the case, these adorable pencils or this classic canvas tote should be perfect!

Stay tuned for more Simply Elegant Gift Guides in the coming weeks. And as always, you can find all my suggestions for the best gifts here!

Customizable Gifts to Buy Now

Embroidered Cocktail Napkins from Courtland & Co

$25+

We know I love a good cocktail napkin moment (see more of my favorites here!) so, of course, a personalized cocktail napkin is one of my go-to gifts. Courtland & Co is an embroidery and linen shop based in Savannah and always has a wonderful assortment of options.

Custom Embroidered Sweater from Lingua Franca

$320+

I love these hand-embroidered cashmere sweaters! You can pick from any of their fun and creative saying or use your own custom phrase or monogram.

Cosmetic Case with Applique from Walker Valentine

$150+

How chic are these cosmetic cases? One day I would love to have a whole matching set of various sizes...so far I only have one, so that will take some time ;)

Personalized Pencils from Stamped Gold on Etsy

$9+

If you are on the hunt for a stocking stuffer or gift for a teacher, what could be better than these fun customizable pencils?! Pick a range of colors or maybe get a dozen in all one hue.

Return Address Stamps from Laura Vogel Designs

$20-$200

How pretty is this Lily of the Valley illustration? These stickers would make a great gift for someone who just moved or maybe recently got married.

The Bespoke Collection from Anya Hindmarch

$150+

I have always loved the beautiful (but sometimes quirky) handbags and accessories from the British brand Anya Hindmarch. If you are looking to splurge, I love the idea of adding a personal note (you can even upload your own handwriting!) to one of their leather accessories. (Last year, I gave my dad a leather bookmark with a personal note, and I have to say, I think it was a big hit!)

Personalized Tennis Balls from Kristin Henchel on Etsy

$32.95+

Looking for a fun gift for a tennis player in your life? How cute are these bright pink tennis balls that you can have monogrammed or personalized with someone's first name.

(I also found these tennis balls as well that come in a few more colors but they ship from the UK so that might take a bit longer shipping wise)

The Ready Robe from Edith Hour

$165

I received this robe as a gift when I was a bridesmaid at my friend Katie's wedding, and I just love it. It is perfectly lightweight but still cozy, thanks to the soft cotton.

Tortoise iPhone Case with Monogram from New Joy Studio on Etsy

$25+

I always seem to be on the hunt for a 'cute' iPhone case, and I found this patterned tortoise option earlier in the year. I love how you can add a fun block print monogram in a range of colors!

Gold Beaded Bracelet from Names for Good

$35

Make their bracelet stack a bit more personal and unique with a custom bracelet from Names for Good. 100% of all proceeds go to charity.

Custom Straw Beach Totes from Breck and Grier

$30+

I love the hand-painted monograms on the bigger straw bags and then the cursive embroidery on the small purses is so cute. We gifted one of the larger totes to my friend Katie at her bachelorette party with her new married initials.

Personalized Notecards from Cedar Street Stationery

$40+

Callie is one of my favorite watercolor artists and she makes the most charming paper goods, from notepads to personalized stationery. This would make another thoughtful gift for an approachable price point.

Custom Leather Tote from Corroon

$300+

Add stripes or a monogram (or both!) in a wide range of colors to make this large tote bag totally unique.

Colorblock Monogrammed Notepad from Joy Creative Shop on Etsy

$22-$43

I love the bold and colorful font of the block letters on this notepad. It makes the perfect gift that is simple and affordable but also thoughtful. (I love the 5.5"x5.5" size.)

$40+

My friend Maddie (@gemsIloved) introduced me to Webster Gray this summer, and I quickly ordered this fun beaded necklace. I can't tell you how many questions and compliments I get on it every time I wear it. Certainly, a gift that will win you some brownie points!

$85+

My mom gifted me one of these great monogrammed totes earlier this year and I just love it! (I have the small tote and it is the perfect work bag for my computer and other daily essentials.)

Engraved Luggage Tag from Merrimade

$38

Merrimade is one of my mom's go-to sources for personalized items. Last year she gave all of us these personalized luggage tags; they might not seem like the most exciting gift, but they are so practical and helpful! The red option helps you spot your suitcase at baggage claim.

$108

I received this once as a gift and it was so thoughtful and fun! For someone like me who loves stripes + monograms, what could be better! (I also love that they not only offer monograms but you can also add emojis!)

$25+

Nothing is more classic than a LLBean Boat Tote. You can never have to many. I use them for everything from grocery shopping to weekend trips!

Personalized Ornament from Moda Domus

$45

Elevate your Christmas tree with this chic personalized ornament from Moda Operandi. I love the cursive hand-lettering.
