Sophisticated Color in New York

The home of Kate Rheinstein Brodsky and her family of five was recently shared on One Kings Lane, after being published in Elle Decor a few years prior. Kate, the daughter of acclaimed designer Suzanne Rheinstein, has clearly picked up more than a few tricks from her mother. Each room is more beautiful than the next!

Kate owns KRB, a furniture and home store on New York’s Upper East Side, that my mom introduced to me this past fall. The store sells a range of vintage furniture as well as accessories and decor items. I have these italian paper accessories in my apartment as a sweet gift from my mom; everything from trays by the Lacquer Company to beautiful Drinks Tables are some of the countless items from KRB currently on my wish list!

From the french blue bedroom to the green kitchen, I am taking notes on how to use color while still having a sophisticated and elegant design.
