Blue & White in Nashville
Unless you have been living under a rock, you should know by now that the acclaimed actress, Reese Witherspoon, has started her own clothing and lifestyle brand, Draper James. Inspired by her southern roots, the collection includes feminine silhouettes and monogramed home goods. I think Reese seems like she would be the sweetest, she would be one of the celebrities that I would invite to my dream dinner party! Do you all follow her on instagram? I love to see her book suggestions, because we seem to both appreciate a good chic-lit novel (should I be embarrassed by that..!)
Anyway, back to Draper James, they just opened their first brick and mortar store in Nashville this week, and the store design = perfection. While some of the floral patterns and styles of the Draper James clothing are a bit too feminine and bright for my taste, they have done a wonderful job enlisting fellow creatives and designers. The website design and some of the products are designed by the one and only Hanna Seabrook of Gadabout. When you take a peak around Hanna's site you will quickly become familiar with her work, she has designed some of my favorite blogs and websites! Draper James then enlisted one of my favorite interior designers, Mark D. Sikes. I have shared my love for Mark's work here...and of course anyone else who loves blue and white as much as me is obviously a kindred spirit of mine!
Mark D. Sikes designed the store front for Draper James in Nashville and it is beautiful! It looks to have a bit of a Tory Burch aesthetic with large front doors and furniture with gold accents. I love the common trend of using blue, white and neutrals thought the space. I think some of these images are going to have to be saved into my dream home inspiration files...just too beautiful!
