This & That

Happy Friday everyone! I hope that you had a wonderful week! Today, I thought I would share some of my favorite finds from the past week.

LOVING     //    While I love to share my favorite dresses and beautiful outfits, day to day when I am at college, I am not going to lie and tell you that I am always that dressed up. More often than not you will find me in leggings and a sweater. So when J.Crew came out with their early Fall new arrivals, I was instantly drawn to this Sage Lightweight Sweatshirt. Sometimes there is just nothing better than a soft sweatshirt.

READING     //      Last week I decided I really need to get back into reading before I fall asleep at night. So I quickly was searching online for suggestions and went to check out New York Times Bestsellers. I came across E. Lockhart's We Were Liars. Not going to lie, it is a young adult novel..but that hasn't stopped me before (aka Divergent.) The Sinclaire family owns a small island off of the Massachusetts coast and year after year, the whole family heads out island for the summer.  While from the exterior the Sinclaire clan seems perfect, rich, beautiful, athletic, throughout the novel we learn of their deep secrets and family struggles.

TRYING OUT    //     In these summer months, the idea of putting on liquid foundation and tons of makeup on is so far from appealing. However, like everyone I still like the leave the house looking awake and pulled together. So this week when I was stopping in Sephora quickly to pick up some makeup remover, I walked by BareMinerals and instantly realized that could be the perfect solution to my summer makeup routine. So for the first time I am trying out BareMinerals with their Matte Foundation Powder and have really liked it so far!

WEARING    //     If you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen earlier this week I decided to follow the trend and buy my first pair of Birkenstocks. I tried on a lot of different styles and colors and quickly decided that white would be the perfect color for me. While I love the classic Arizona style, I felt that they made my feet look huge. So instead I decided to go for the T-strap Gizeh style. And oh my gosh they are so comfortable..I can see why people swear by them! I am still not sure that I can totally pull of the look, but their so comfortable that I am wearing them constantly!
