Summer Vacation Inspiration

Let's talk about the Hamptons. Here is a little secret that might seem crazy to some..? I have never been to the Hamptons. I have been to Long Island once or twice but never all the way out to Eastern end.

Growing up in Massachusetts and spending countless summers in Maine, we never headed elsewhere for vacations at the beach, and happily so. The other day I was browsing through travel bookmarks on my computer. (Yes, I bookmark various hotels even without a planned vacation in mind. You never know, right? I think it is best to be prepared!)

As I was browsing through my 'one day' vacation bookmarks I came back across The Surf Lodge in Montauk. While revisiting the pictures of the sea-side hotel, I instantly knew I had to post some images here. Who wouldn't love the white and yellow exterior, the bikes, surfboards and beautiful outdoor spaces!
