The other day I spotted this perfect little black dress on Stripes & Sequins and I loved how it was a classic cut but a bit more interesting due to the eyelet. Do you all ever shop at Ann Taylor Loft? It is not somewhere that I think of often, but after I spotted this dress on Liz's blog I decided to head the store to check out their designs. I was really happily surprised, they had a great selection of pieces. Their designs remind me of what J.Crew used to be back in the day, classic basics that are essentials for any closet. I tried on a few pieces, but ended up leaving with the black eyelet dress that Liz posted and this lavender silk tank.  The dress is a bit longer than I would normally like so I think I may hem it just a few inches. Do you all get your clothes altered? I just started to get some pieces altered and I have realized how much of a difference it makes. Back in January, I got the short sleeves taken of a Madewell dress and I loved how it turned out, the dress is now one of my favorites in my closet. Anyway, I can't wait to wear my new dress with my tan denim jacket and simple black sandals. While I love blue denim jackets, this neutral denim jacket is a new favorite in my closet.  And then how about some beautiful gold bracelets to polish off the look, this bangle set from Aerin is on my wishlist.
