Over the weekend I came across a great new brand, The Great. A brand created by Emily Current and Meritt Elliott that launched this February. Do Emily and Meritt's names sound familiar? They are the original founders of one of my favorite brands, Current/Elliott. A few years back, both women left Current/Elliott, but are back in the fashion world with their new brand The Great.

While most of us know Current/Elliott for their great jeans I am always drawn to their amazingly soft tees. So I am so excited to hear that The Great is more focused on a wider collection that includes tops, tees and dresses. Following my usual trend of loving basic tees, I just ordered this simple Black Boxy Crew.  But how great are these flowy peplum tops, here and here.  And then this green jacket, The Swingy, is on top of my wishlist!
