One of the many things that I love about the holidays is the gift of spending time together as a family! When all four of us get together, I am the annoying one in the family, that forces everyone to take photos. I believe that photos are great ways to document moments and capture the joy of all being together. Therefore, I also love collecting all of the memories and photos into family photo albums. It is so fun to be able to pick up a photo book from the coffee table and be reminded of the wonderful times and trips we have taken over the years. Last year I made a photo book through Pinhole Press to give to my family for Christmas. This year with being busy with school, making a photo book for the family slipped my mind. Now, even though Christmas has come and gone, I think it may still be nice to make a book to document the past year. The other day I was reading a blog post over on A Blog Named Scout and she posted about how they printed photo postcards from Artifact Uprising to send as Christmas cards. I clicked on over to Artifact Uprising, a company I had never previously heard of, and was very intrigued by their various products. I’m drawn to the soft, simple and understated nature of their pieces. Their products range from hardcover and softcover photo books, personalized simplistic calendars, square photo prints and more.
